Oct 29, 2016 7:00am ‐ Oct 29, 2016 7:45am

Description

In an effort to boost performance on assessments, various interventions have embraced 21st century skills as a means of improving learning and teaching. This multi-paper section will focus on measuring 21st Century Skills within the context of program evaluation. The section provides rationale for focusing on these skills and discusses examples of how to measure these skills within different interventions using multiple examples of evaluation design. We recommend several practices for assessing 21st century skills: incorporating multiple measures to permit triangulation of the data; using the context of Project-Based Learning to measure 21st century skills.
